The Power 12x8 Apex Log Cabin 44mm delivers a well-built, attractive garden space suited to home working, fitness, or simply unwinding. Built from quality materials by skilled craftspeople, it is a structure that will serve you reliably for many years.
This garden building is constructed in Britain using sustainably sourced Scandinavian timber, valued for its density and longevity. The 44mm interlocking logs are precision machined to fit tightly together, while 19mm thick roof and floor boards give the structure genuine rigidity. Full uPVC doors and windows carry that same attention to detail through to the exterior, and the maintenance-free EPDM Firestone roof covering ties everything together - all backed by a 10 Year Warranty.
The 19mm thick floor boards feel solid and warm underfoot from the moment you step inside. The aluminium low threshold sill removes the barrier at the entrance, allowing wheelchairs and bicycles to pass through without difficulty. Getting in and out of the cabin is straightforward and comfortable for all users.
Wall logs are cut from responsibly sourced, high-grade Scandinavian softwood. Tongue and groove boards are used for both the floor and the roof decking, creating a tight, stable assembly. Tanalised 58x44mm pressure treated bearers sit beneath the cabin, lifting the floor clear of the ground and protecting it from moisture over time.
Every piece of timber we use carries FSC certification, sourced only from FSC certified suppliers. This confirms the wood originates from carefully managed forests. We also actively contribute to local community and charity initiatives, because we believe caring for the environment and supporting the people around us go hand in hand.

All of our log cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, meaning that you can bypass most planning permission restrictions that may apply to residential builds. There are extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure that the strength and rigidity of the cabin aren\'t compromised by the reduced height. For all information regarding planning, please consult your local planning office.
The log cabins come completely untreated, except the pressure-treated floor bearers. The extremely precise machining of the logs, which is required to ensure the perfect fit, requires the building to be treated after assembly rather than before. Treating the logs before you install the cabin may result in the components not fitting correctly as it can cause the timber to expand. Some components are okay to treat prior to installation, such as the pressure-treated bearers, floor, and roof boards. In fact, there are some areas that will be much harder to treat annually, so try to get a few coats on prior to assembly to ensure the longevity of your building.
