This 4190mm wide apex cabin is built from slow-grown Scandinavian softwood, precision machined into 44mm interlocking logs. The tight wall profile controls heat loss and holds its shape over decades. Floor and roof boards measure 19mm thick throughout, giving a firm, stable platform underfoot and overhead. 58x44mm pressure treated bearers lift the floor clear of ground moisture. Anthracite UPVC double doors and two UPVC tilt and turn windows are factory-glazed with toughened double glazing. The EPDM Firestone RubberCover roof membrane carries a 50 year life span. A UPVC gutter drip plate channels rainwater clear of the walls. A 10 Year Warranty backs the whole building.

Low Threshold Sill

The 19mm floorboards sit flush and feel solid underfoot. The aluminium low threshold door sill removes the step at the entrance entirely. Wheelchairs, bikes, and garden equipment move in and out without obstruction. It is a small detail that makes daily use far more practical.

Delivery is on an 26t HIAB vehicle, using a crane which is positioned on the vehicle, behind the cab. If there are any access restrictions for a vehicle of this size, please inform us as soon as possible. Delivery is classed as Kerbside only depending on access. If Power are unable to deliver a log cabin due to access issues not advised or if the customer is not in when they attempt to deliver, re-delivery charges may apply

Do I need Planing Permission?

All of our log cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, meaning that you can bypass most planning permission restrictions that may apply to residential builds. There are extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure that the strength and rigidity of the cabin aren\'t compromised by the reduced height. For all information regarding planning, please consult your local planning office.

Are our Log cabins Treated?

The log cabins come completely untreated, except the pressure-treated floor bearers. The extremely precise machining of the logs, which is required to ensure the perfect fit, requires the building to be treated after assembly rather than before. Treating the logs before you install the cabin may result in the components not fitting correctly as it can cause the timber to expand. Some components are okay to treat prior to installation, such as the pressure-treated bearers, floor, and roof boards. In fact, there are some areas that will be much harder to treat annually, so try to get a few coats on prior to assembly to ensure the longevity of your building.
