The Power 16x12 Pent Log Cabin 44mm delivers serious garden room space in a clean, modern pent profile. Every component is specified for longevity. Use it as a home office, gym, or retreat - this cabin is built to perform year-round.

We install a lot of log cabins, and this one stands out for its material quality. Walls are formed from 44mm interlocking logs, precision-cut from slow-grown Scandinavian softwood for tight jointing and thermal mass. Floor and roof boards are 19mm thick throughout, giving excellent load capacity underfoot and overhead. The EPDM Firestone RubberCover roof carries a 50 Year Life Span, and every door and window is full uPVC - all covered by a 10 Year Warranty.

Easy Access Door Sill

The 19mm floorboards feel solid and warm underfoot. The aluminium low threshold sill keeps entry level and accessible. Wheelchairs and bicycles pass through without obstruction. No awkward step to negotiate when carrying equipment in or out.

Scandinavian Timber

Wall logs are sourced from responsibly managed Scandinavian forests. Tongue and groove boarding is used for both floor and roof decks. The 58x44mm pressure treated bearers lift the floor clear of ground moisture. The 145mm roof purlins handle snow and wind loading without deflection.

Delivery is on an 26t HIAB vehicle, using a crane which is positioned on the vehicle, behind the cab. If there are any access restrictions for a vehicle of this size, please inform us as soon as possible. Delivery is classed as Kerbside only depending on access. If Power are unable to deliver a log cabin due to access issues not advised or if the customer is not in when they attempt to deliver, re-delivery charges may apply

Do I need Planing Permission?

All of our log cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, meaning that you can bypass most planning permission restrictions that may apply to residential builds. There are extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure that the strength and rigidity of the cabin aren\'t compromised by the reduced height. For all information regarding planning, please consult your local planning office.

Are our Log cabins Treated?

The log cabins come completely untreated, except the pressure-treated floor bearers. The extremely precise machining of the logs, which is required to ensure the perfect fit, requires the building to be treated after assembly rather than before. Treating the logs before you install the cabin may result in the components not fitting correctly as it can cause the timber to expand. Some components are okay to treat prior to installation, such as the pressure-treated bearers, floor, and roof boards. In fact, there are some areas that will be much harder to treat annually, so try to get a few coats on prior to assembly to ensure the longevity of your building.
