The Power 16x8 Apex Log Cabin 44mm delivers a versatile, well-built space ready for work, leisure, or fitness use. Precision-engineered from slow-grown Scandinavian timber, it is designed to perform year-round and stand the test of time.

At 4790mm wide, this cabin makes efficient use of garden space without sacrificing interior room. The 44mm interlocking logs are machined to fit tightly together, eliminating draughts and improving thermal performance. A 19mm thick floor and roof board construction handles heavy loads with confidence. Full anthracite UPVC double doors, three tilt-and-turn windows, and toughened double glazing are fitted as standard. The maintenance-free EPDM Firestone RubberCover roof carries a 50 Year Life Span, and the entire package is backed by a 10 Year Warranty.

Easy Access Door Sill

The 19mm floorboards sit low and feel solid underfoot. An aluminium low threshold sill keeps the step-in height to a minimum. Wheelchairs, bikes, and garden equipment all pass through without obstruction. Usability was considered at every point in the design.

Scandinavian Timber

Every wall log is cut from high-grade Scandinavian timber selected for its tight grain and long-term stability. Tongue and groove boards are used across both the floor and roof deck. The 58x44mm pressure treated bearers lift the cabin clear of the ground, protecting the floor from moisture and maintaining airflow beneath. The 145mm roof purlins add further structural integrity overhead.

Delivery is on an 26t HIAB vehicle, using a crane which is positioned on the vehicle, behind the cab. If there are any access restrictions for a vehicle of this size, please inform us as soon as possible. Delivery is classed as Kerbside only depending on access. If Power are unable to deliver a log cabin due to access issues not advised or if the customer is not in when they attempt to deliver, re-delivery charges may apply

Do I need Planing Permission?

All of our log cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, meaning that you can bypass most planning permission restrictions that may apply to residential builds. There are extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure that the strength and rigidity of the cabin aren\'t compromised by the reduced height. For all information regarding planning, please consult your local planning office.

Are our Log cabins Treated?

The log cabins come completely untreated, except the pressure-treated floor bearers. The extremely precise machining of the logs, which is required to ensure the perfect fit, requires the building to be treated after assembly rather than before. Treating the logs before you install the cabin may result in the components not fitting correctly as it can cause the timber to expand. Some components are okay to treat prior to installation, such as the pressure-treated bearers, floor, and roof boards. In fact, there are some areas that will be much harder to treat annually, so try to get a few coats on prior to assembly to ensure the longevity of your building.
