The Power 20x18 Pent Log Cabin 44mm gives you a generous, well-appointed garden room without compromise. Every material choice has been made with longevity and usability in mind, from the timber walls through to the glazing and roof covering. Whether the space is destined for a home office, a gym, or a quiet retreat, this cabin is built to handle daily occupation.
Precision-machined 44mm interlocking logs arrive ready to fit together cleanly on site, cutting assembly time considerably. The 19mm thick roof boards and floor boards work together to form a rigid, stable shell. Maintenance-free EPDM Firestone rubber covers the pent roof, while full uPVC doors and windows complete a weather-tight building. Every element carries the backing of a 10 year warranty.
The 19mm floorboards feel solid and warm underfoot from day one. Aluminium low threshold sills sit flush at the doorway, allowing wheelchairs, bicycles, and trolleys to pass straight through without lifting. There is no awkward step to negotiate entering or leaving the cabin.
Walls are formed from high-grade slow-grown Scandinavian softwood, selected for its tight grain and inherent strength. Tongue and groove boarding is used for both the floor deck and the roof, creating a tight, interlocked construction throughout. Pressure treated 58x44mm bearers sit beneath the floor, lifting it clear of ground moisture and providing a firm, level base.
All timber used in this cabin comes exclusively from FSC certified sources, supplied by FSC certified merchants. Responsible forest management is a condition of every supply chain we use. Beyond the timber itself, we actively contribute to local charities and community projects, because caring for the environment and supporting the people around us are commitments we take seriously.

The log cabins come completely untreated, except the pressure-treated floor bearers. The extremely precise machining of the logs, which is required to ensure the perfect fit, requires the building to be treated after assembly rather than before. Treating the logs before you install the cabin may result in the components not fitting correctly as it can cause the timber to expand. Some components are okay to treat prior to installation, such as the pressure-treated bearers, floor, and roof boards. In fact, there are some areas that will be much harder to treat annually, so try to get a few coats on prior to assembly to ensure the longevity of your building.
