Product Details
Golden Somer is a warm amber-yellow tone carrying soft orange undertones. Applied to timber, it brings a rich, sun-warmed character to outdoor structures. The semi-opaque, satin-finish coating lets the wood grain show through whilst delivering solid weather resistance.
This 2.5 litre water-based paint dries in just 1 hour and is ready to overcoat after 6 hours. On planed or smooth timber it covers up to 12m² per litre per coat. On rough-sawn surfaces that drops to 6m² per litre. VOC levels are kept to a minimum. It self-primes, repels water and remains micro porous, making it a practical choice for sheds, summerhouses, log cabins, decking and more. Thinning with water is straightforward, and clean-up needs only water and a small amount of detergent.
For Whites and Off Whites, we strongly recommend using Thorndown Stain Blocking Primer to help prevent Resin Bleeds and Tanin Stains.
