Product Details
Grey Heron is a cool, soft blue-grey drawn from the natural tones of heron plumage. It brings a refined, understated character to any wood surface, inside or out. The opaque formula lays down a satin sheen that catches the grain beautifully, while standing up to the demands of outdoor exposure.
This 2.5 litre tin delivers up to 12m² per litre per coat on planed or smooth timber, dropping to 6m² per litre on rough-sawn stock. VOC levels are kept to a minimum, drying time is just 1 hour, and you can overcoat after 6 hours. It suits decking, sheds, summerhouses, log cabins, and most other external or internal timber projects. No primer coat is needed on standard surfaces.
When working with whites or off-whites, we strongly advise applying Thorndown Stain Blocking Primer first to guard against resin bleeds and tannin stains.
