Thorndown Gromwell Green Wood Paint 2.5L takes its colour from the gromwell herb, a rare plant native to Mendip woodland. The result is a sharp, acidic yellow-green tone that gives any garden structure real presence. It carries genuine weather protection too, resisting moisture ingress and handling temperature extremes without issue.

Each litre covers up to 12m² on planed or smooth timber and 6m² on rough-sawn surfaces. VOC levels are kept to a minimum, drying is done within 1 hour, and the satin finish lets the natural wood grain show through. We fit this paint to decking, sheds, summerhouses and log cabins alike. It performs equally well on all of them.

When working with whites or off-whites, we always apply Thorndown Stain Blocking Primer first. It prevents resin bleeds and tannin stains coming through the top coat.
