Product Details

Thorndown Sundowner Orange Wood Paint 2.5L delivers a warm, semi-opaque orange tone with a soft peach quality. It suits log cabins, garden sheds, and all manner of timber structures. The satin finish lets the wood grain show through while offering solid weather protection.

This 2.5 litre formulation achieves up to 12m² per litre on planed or smooth timber and 6m² per litre on rough-sawn surfaces. VOC levels are minimal, drying takes just 1 hour, and overcoating is possible after 6 hours. It works equally well on decking, summerhouses, and ageing timber structures. Self-priming and micro porous, it allows moisture to escape rather than trapping it beneath the surface.

When working with whites and off-whites, we strongly recommend using Thorndown Stain Blocking Primer to help prevent resin bleeds and tannin stains.
